Here are some statistics about Decent, from since we've started:

Number of paying customers: 65,987

Number of items shipped: 177,767

Number of paid, new DE1 shipped: 9,879

New of paid, new & used DE1 shipped: 10,304

When we consider all DE1 out there (about 10,000 of them), we keep track of how many need to come back to us for a repair.

We expect the number to grow over time, since, as machines age, the likelihood of a repair increases.

So far, we repaired 353 machines, which is 3.5% of all machines we've ever built.

Our repair rate is getting better each machine, though years will need to pass before we have a full picture. We started out at a 9.60% repair rate, and each version has lowered our repair rate by about 2%. I don't think we'll be able to lower it much more than where we currently are (0.7%), however.

COVID gave us a "Sales bubble" of about 50% over our normal expectations, and we have now settled back to normal sales levels, of about 1800 DE1 per year:

Though, once Bengle comes out later this year, we might increase our 2024 sales numbers.
