Today we had our annual Chinese New Year feast. In past years, I've cooked for everyone, but there's too much going on, and we have a high energy, great new staff cook (Amy) who wanted to wow everyone (she did), so I only made desert: a (light roast) coffee ice cream with a chocolate and walnut ganache.
Next week, we're closed wednesday->friday, taking a five day weekend. Having just watched the great Four Trails Movie about a 300km marathon, Bugs and I are doing the same trail (except, over 3 months!). Gotta lose a bit of weight before our wedding in March!
