Our Countertop Pitcher Rinser is now available.
It's something I've always wanted when doing road trips and demonstrations, because I need a portable way to clean things up as I make coffee.
Last year, when Bugs and I were touring Europe for weeks with Scott Rao, I made a prototype out of legos, and literally cobbled it back together for each gig: However, that prototype had the pump and power down on the ground, where it was risky and messy.
In our rinser, we mounted the pump directly inside: and provide a universal DC charger. This makes it really portable. It's also very easy to open up (from above or below) so that you can spot any clogs (note the transparent silicone tubing) because it is possible to clog these things up (with tea leaves, for instance) and you want to be able to get in and fix that during a gig, without finding any tools.
We're 100% building the rinser ourselves. It's for our boxing team to do in the afternoons: once they've prepared everything for UPS/FEDEX to come around 3pm, they have three spare hours, and this is both a good use of their time, and an interesting diversion. It also lets us completely control the quality of the product, something that isn't possible when you outsource.
