The drip tray of the Decent Espresso machine usually has to be emptied by hand. With our drain kit, you can drain the waste water from your espresso machine into a container or directly into your drainage system. It is compatible with all the models in the DE1 series (including the DE1PRO, the DE1XL, and the discontinued DE1PLUS), but NOT with Bengle.
1. Drip tray with a hole
2. Drip tray cover
3. Large black opaque tube for waste water
4. Straight small black tube to drain into a countersink
5. Cable tie
6. L-shaped tube to drain sideways
There's 3 ways to connect your drip tray to a waste water container or directly to your waste water system:
1. If you want to drain straight downwards, you can connect the large black tube (3) directly to the hole of the drip tray. Take the cable tie (5), wrap it around the part of the tube end which is overlapping the drain hole of the drip tray (1) and tighten it to secure the tube to the drain hole.
2. If you're using a countersink, connect the straight small black tube (4) to the hole of the drip tray (1). Take the cable tie (5), wrap it around the part of the tube end which is overlapping the drain hole and tighten it to secure the tube to the drain hole.
3. If you want to use the L-shape connector (6) to drain the water sideways, put it directly over the drain hole of the drip tray (1) and lock it on with the cable tie (5). Then, connect the large black tube (3) to the other side of the L-shape tube (6). No cable tie is needed here.
Note that the water tube shouldn't be submerged under water, otherwise it won't drain well.
