Before you start:

To replace the needles on your Puck Rake, you will need to purchase a "Replacement Needles Set for Puck Rake V2". These replacement needles are also compatible with Puck Rake V1. Please see the instructions below for details.

To change the needles:

1. Separate the handle: Twist the metal and wooden handle in an anticlockwise direction to separate them.

2. Remove the damaged needles: Push the damaged needles inward to remove them. Use tweezers if necessary.

3. Insert the new needles: Insert the new needles until the heads are securely fitted into place.

4. Reattach the handle: Twist the needle base to attach it back to the wooden handle.

For Puke Rake V1 users:

Please note that the V2 needles are 4mm longer than the V1 needles. If you have the earlier version of our WDT tool, you will need to either trim the new needles to match the length of the V1 needles or replace all needles with the V2 version. To trim, simply use a pair of pliers to safely cut off the excess.
