10 year anniversary, "lucky" pink espresso machine
Ten years ago, en route to Bali, we had a one day stop-over in Hong Kong.
We took a taxi to nearby Tai O, where they still make shrimp paste from scratch, fermented in the sun.
We hiked along the coast, where at a vista point, we spotted several pink dolphins swimming by the still-under-construction bridge from the airport.
The Hong Kongers next to us were so happy. They'd been hiking here for years, and never before had they seen the dolphins.
They're considered a sign of good luck, and we'd seen them on our first visit.
And indeed–all things considered–we've had a string of good luck, especially considering the crazy ten year's it's been.
And so for our ten year anniversary, we're releasing a pink model of our DE1XL (and DE1XXL) models, available at no extra cost over our white model.
To those who put this espresso machine in your house, may it bring the same good luck that we've been graced with.
